WaitingWell is an initiative developed by The Owl Centre Charity the charitable arm of The Owl Centre Ltd, an award-winning company providing Neurodiversity assessments and support.
Established in 2020, The Owl Centre Charity focuses on delivering bespoke information, support and training programmes both within the UK and internationally.
These programmes are designed to support people of all ages but particularly parents of children and young people with additional needs, and to empower local practitioners working with this demographic.
The WaitingWell initiative is built on the understanding that supportive strategies can and should begin before a formal diagnosis is made.
Not every individual undergoing assessment will receive a diagnosis, yet many of the tools and insights provided by WaitingWell can still significantly improve well-being and foster positive mental health.
This inclusive approach ensures that the initiative offers value to everyone on a waiting list, regardless of their eventual diagnostic outcome.
